1853. Second Edition. 198 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Brown embossed cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Deckled and rough cut text block edges. Prefaces pages are slightly loose. Ex-Library copy, with expected inscriptions and embossing. Pages are moderately tanned with mild foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Heavy cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding is slightly loose. Glue residue to front free endpaper and paste-down, with a few small nicks and creases along text block edge. Green rub mark to half title page. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with notable bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces.
