Early re-publication of the piano-vocal score of his Op. 40, first performed in Vienna, Jan. 1898. 13-136, [iii] pp. Quarto. Hardcover. Published by Bosworth & Co., Leipzig etc., [1898ff.]. German and English texts. Plate nos. 2994, 2995, 6793. Not bound in & perhaps not published in this edition: pp. 1-12, presumably the overture (Vorspiel). Later binding in 2-tone cloth, with the paper wraps bound in. All in at least Very Good condition. -- Heuberger wrote a biography of Schubert, and composed 2 ballets, 4 operas and several operettas, but is now remembered almost exclusively for Der Opernball.
