This beautiful LEATHER BOUND copy was produced by the Easton Press by arrangement with Potomoc Books, an imprint of the University of Nebraska Press. The lead author was a Lt. Col. in the U.S. Air Force, and has written a number of books relating to Military History. This copy contains a complete history of this important battle during World War II and includes numerous photographs as well as a few maps that document the progress of the battle. The book is bound in a full blue leather binding with gilt spine and cover lettering; the spine has raised bands, and all five compartments are decorated; all edges are gilt, and there are silk moire end papers as well as a yellow ribbon book mark. This is a beautifully produced book and is in very nice condition with no owner names, book plates or other internal or external markings. It is designated as a "Collector's Edition" with a 2019 date, but no indication as to whether it was part of the publisher's Military History Collection.
