Hardcover The red cover has wonderful black and gilt decorated, with the title in red that is outlined in gilt; the spine is also decorated in black and gilt with the black title enclosed in gilt. The corners and spine ends are lightly bumped with some shelf wear. The end papers are very clean and bright, the frontispiece is a wonderful black and white picture of an old man in top hat talking to a young boy. The page with the frontispiece is cracking at the spine, but it is still holding. The interior pages are in very good shape with a very few bent corners. Pages 578-1152. Seller Inventory # 000398
