DESCRIPTION: The most interesting articles in this 4 page newspaper are as follows: (1) There is an important article from the American Anti Slavery Society, (2) an article concerning John Ross (1790-1866) who was the Principal Chief of the Cherokee. Ross influenced the Indian nation through such tumultuous events as the relocation to Indian Territory. (3) A report from the Journal of Congess in regards to Mr. Clay's resolution on the currency, comming up, Mr. Webster proposed an ammendment substituting for the first resolution, one virtually repealing the specie circular and prohibiting the issue of such circulars in the future. (4) Summary of domestic news. (5) Religious News, (6) Foreign news, and (7) Poetry * This newpaper measures 25 inches by about 36 inches and folded to about 25 by 18 inches. * CONDITION: There are nicks on the edges, ageing is evident but the newspaper is acturally in pretty good condition for its age. Any repairs that have been made are with PH neutral invisible tape. This newspaper will be shipped in its original folded condition but with foam core on both sides for protection. Their is a small portion of the front that is missing. Their is a signature on the top right side of the paper, the signature has turned brown with age. Seller Inventory # 0900
