The map is of North and South America. there is an interesting part of the engraving that captures the directions of the prevailing winds. North America shows five Great Lakes in a relatively correct rendering. Pennsylvania stands out large Carolina, Georgia and Florida stand out. The coastal points are labeled along the East Coast. The Port of Sir Francis Drake is shown on the West Cost. There is a delineation of the British Colony/French Colonies that favors the French. Overall this is a most desirable map for collectors of the United States, Canals]da and Mexico. Seller Inventory # 701
