Blue cloth. 8vo. Pictorial dust jacket with price on flap. Illustrated by Henry O'Connor. A story of the real life of the men and officers of the Navy by the maritime author and early Olympic champion. Connolly writes about boxing night on a battleship, the boat races between rival crews, of Neptune coming aboard when crossing the Equator, of smoke screens and tropic sunrises and much more. A very good copy with some minor wear to the cloth. The endsheets are browned else the text is very good and clean. The jacket is good with some chips and tears along the top and bottom edge. The rear of the jacket has some clear tape reinforcement at the top and bottom. Scarce in the jacket. Seller Inventory # 10921
