Quartos. Illustrated glossy dust jackets over glossy green paper wrappers. This lovely collections is a complete run of all 7 of the collected volumes of the acclaimed manga from Hayao Miyazaki. All of these are the original Japanese editions, with most being first editions. Vol. 7 is a reprint and vol. 3 is a slightly later printing (1985). Each volume (except #7) contains an original fold-out color poster bound in on the first page. Pages throughout in sepia-toned brown and white. The first chapters in the manga were famously adapted by Miyazaki himself into the groundbreaking animation feature film of the same name in 1984. Text in Japanese. Vols. 1 and 2 with some light smudges to the tops of the dust jackets. Dj of vols.1 and 4 with small closed tears and or bumping at the head. Paper covers on all volumes with minor to light creasing. Volumes 1-3 with some light foxing to the edges of book blocks, with a few instances of minor staining to the pages. Vol.7 with a few small stains at the side margin of the initial pages.
