Black cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine. Slight rubbing to edges; minor bumping to head and tail of spine; mild scuffing. Yellow dust jacket with black lettering on cover and spine. Jacket is wrapped in mylar and is not price clipped. Writing in pen on front flap; minor chipping and shelf wear to edges; mild soiling. Binding is tight. Interior is clean except for a few marks from previous owner: bookplate on front pastedown, stamp and writing on front free endpaper, raised stamp on half-title page, and mark of removed sticker on rear pastedown. Text block has a faded yellow top stain. This book examines the zoological discoveries of the Lewis and Clark expedition, presenting descriptions of wildlife pulled directly from expedition journals.
