. Paperback. 1924-1929. A rare and near complete collection of the publications of The National Minority Movement (NMM). The collection contains 78 items, which include rare pamphlets and 13 issues of 'The Red International of Labour Unions'. Established in 1924 by the Communist Party of Great Britain, the NMM attempted to organise a radical presence within existing trade unions and convert the revolutionary minority of the working class into a majority and entice workers who were unwilling to join the Communist Party. It was headed by Tom Mann and Harry Pollitt. The NMM was affiliated to the Red International of Labour Unions (RILU). Date range of items included: 1924-1929. Most are in very good/good condition, covers and binding may be faded and show some shelf wear, remains a fine collection of material relating to an historic British organisation.
