Illustrated with 45 black and white captioned photos. Stapled booklet in Green card stock wrappers printed and decorated in black. Just hints of wear to extremities, covers clean and bright, corners square and flat, no rust on the staples, handwritten in ink on inside of front wrapper the information about this being a 1958 reprint, all photos in fine condition, else fine with no internal markings. Includes sections on topics you would expect in such a history: Eldorado", and the like. First Nations are barely mentioned and there are just two pages devoted to the internment camp at New Denver. This booklet includes an article by J.C. Harris entitle "Thumbnail Sketches of Slocan Oldtimers", which includes short bios of Eli Carpenter, R.T. Lowery, and William Tomlinson.
