Quarto. 9 in. x 12 in. 38 pp. Maroon leather with gilt titling on the front cover; front and rear covers have a blind-stamped design set within gilt panels. Grey silk doublures and grey suede end-papers. This is No. 10 of "Thirteen copies …printed on parchment with gold illuminated initials by Thomas Ingmire." (From the colophon.) Laid-in is an envelope containing an errata card, which reads in part; "The bindings for twelve of the parchment copies…were designed by Peter, David and Anne Bromer. The bindings and their protective cases were executed by Eleanore Ramsey and Janice Schopfer." The dropback box is also bound in leather. Its front cover matches the book s cover but without the gilt. The box has gilt titling on the spine and is lined with grey suede. The front cover of this copy shows, about 6 inches from the top, a 6-inch horizontal line (which may be a light scratch or a flaw in the leather) and two similar but shorter lines angled beneath the horizontal line. Also laid-in are: (1) the prospectus from the publisher describing the regular edition of the book, of which 225 copies were printed; and (2) a shorter description of the work. Weight is 4.5 lbs.
