No dust jacket. 11.5x8.5 inches; [6], 133, [1] pp. Text illustrated with line drawings; many full-page photo illustrations showing typical views of Munich during the Nazi regime. The frontispiece, which doesn't face the title page but comes 3 leaves later, is a tipped-in halftone picture of a bust of Hitler by Prof. Richard Klein. The endpapers are patterned with ranks and files of banners combining the Munich coat of arms (a young monk with arms outstretched, holding a book in one hand) standing before a cathedral topped with the Nazi eagle standing on a wreath enclosing a swastika.
