A worn but complete copy, with some loose pages resulting from a split to the inner binding around pp. 172-3, and some loose endpapers and title pages towards the front. Page edges a little browned and thumbed, with some occasional foxing encroaching onto the margins, but most pages otherwise clear and well-preserved. Edges of frontispiece worn, but image still clear. Covers are browned and worn along the outer edges and along the spine, though front cover remains legible.
