Maroon buckram boards and spine, the latter lettered and lined in gilt. internally brown endpapers the ffont one with small library label and cutting from seller's catalogue pasted in; 4 cm vertical closed tear near base of spine. Two blank pages followed by soiled illustrated title page with 4 cm tape on front edge and 2mm hole near base and tape 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm on reverse. Page 3/4 has tape 1.5 cm x 1 cm on each side; the paper of first plate a little crinkled first plate; some soiling on pages 5 to 10 (9/10 with 1 cm closed tear); two more plates, back to back, then pages 11 to 18 lightly soiled; two more plates, the second with 1 cm tear and 1 cm chip; final page (19) followed by 4 pages ads, the last badly soiled. 6 plates including frontis Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
