This is the authors own copy signed by him at the Bryn mar Book Fair in 1905. A pencil notation of the ffe states this, which cannot be verified. The book plate, appears to be hand drawn in ink. Except for that and the pencil notation book is clean and square with nice marble boards. Copyright is dated 1900 and the publication date appears to be 1904. First edition? Top is tan stained that shows a bit of foxing. Spine would be VF is not for the fact that it is faded to a point where the title is unreadable. Bottom and fore edge are untrimmed. A very fine copy.
