Taped to the cover is a notice that the book has been chosen as a Literary Guild Alternate Selection, a decision made after the proof was printed. Two sets of staple holes in the front cover which likely held the proposed dustwrapper. Light wear; a very good copy, fragile and scarce. New Arthurian Encyclopedia, p. 50.
