A beautiful Fine copy in off-white canvas cloth stamped in glowing blue gilt at spine and on front cover, in a Fine dark blue laminated glossy dustwrapper, not price-clipped, complete w ith pamphlet of reviews inside pocket of rear pastedown, as issued. This dustwrapper is notoriously prone to fading, and curling and tearing along the edges of the lamination; this one is completely unfaded, with one minute tear to lower front spinefold. Probably stored away from the light, and never handled. 242pp. This is Minor's own comprehensive integral statement, combining his special penetrating sense of visual abstraction, filled with tantalizing mystery, and his sequential ordering of pictures which build to crescendos of feeling. Exquisitely reproduced black and white plates on coated text stock. Leavened with quotations from his writings. A brilliant summary of his work and aesthetic.
