16mo 6" - 7" tall; 523 pages; 3rd edition. Bound to accomodate travel in full, supple, pebbled leather with a folding title lettered closure over the front edge. Edges marbled. Calls for three maps but none present. Leather scraped at top and spine edges; partial split along the folding front flap. The leather strip meant to serve as a catch for the tongue of the flap is missing. Laeather at spine more heavily worn with surface rubbing and light scarring but tiles still bold and entire spine present. Contents clean and complete save for maps, with a few signatures starting slightly. Several trade-tourist ads at front and rear. A worn but sound copy of the much harder to find pre-1900 editions.
