Two volumes. Ex-school library set with bookplates on front endpapers. Oxblood cloth boards with oxblood half-leather binding; leather worn, particularly on spine. Five raised bands and gilt decoration on spine, with class marks written near feet. Marbled endpapers and page edges. Foxing inside endpapers; sellotape stains on first blank pages; otherwise text largely clean. Volume 1: (i)-xxii; (1)-391 with 9 illustrations. Volume 2 (i)-(xii); (1)-437 with 17 maps/illustrations.
