About this Item
The book is bound in orange cloth with title and author in brown on the spine. The corners and spine caps are lightly rubbed. Age-toned panels on the free endpapers. There is foxing on the fore-edges. Book plate of previous owner on the front paste down. Pages 67-74 have creasing near the fore-edges. Otherwise, the pages are clean, tight and unmarked. Translated by Edouard Roditi. The dust jacket is in good condition with a one inch closed tea on the bottom edge of the front panel and a large chip of missing paper on the heel of spine panel. A Turkish author of Kurdish descent, kamal was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1973, largely based upon this work. 371 pages. Seller Inventory # ABE-1698187607165
