Marigold, a mule from a mine is brought in to take Maud's place and winds up bringing honor to herself and the Army. Red illustrated cloth over boards, illustrated end papers, 55 pages with illustrations by the author on nearly every page. Corners and spine ends bumped lightly, light soil on boards, previous owner's bookplate on front free end paper; otherwise a nice copy, interior clean, no writing or marks, binding sound.
