Book Description Original Cloth. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. The front panel of the boards has two small dents to the top edge - one of these is quite heavy. Otherwise only light surface wear and edge rubbing to the boards. The page edges have some discolouration to the top edges near the spine and to the bottom edges near the bottom corner. The endpapers are browned but the pages are clean and unmarked. The jacket has quite a bit of damage to the spine. There is a one inch piece missing at the top with another quarter inch hole just below this. There is a two inch loose flap at the centre of the spine, some chipping with loss at the bottom and the spine is heavily darkened with some edge rubbing. The jacket mostly otherwise complete although there is chipping along the top edge and at the corners and some browning and rubbing to the edges. First printing. Seller Inventory # 019471
