A map of Paris, before the Eiffel Tower was a erected. The image goes from Avenue du Trocadero to Place du Trone (west - east) and Rue Constantinople/Av. Trudaine to Boulevard Saint Jacques (north - south). On the verso, "Reception of Her Majesty by the Emperor at Bologne" with large decorative letters "V" & "N" in the corners, standing for Queen Victoria and Napoleon. "Review of the Imperial Guard at the Champs de Mars" is also on the verso. A supplement to the Illustrated London News. 29 1/2 x 22 3/4", b&w, original folds. Seller Inventory # 27583
