Lacking one of the plates (Plate 9). Cloth on rear board heavily water damaged with old mould stains. Gutta percha glue in spine perished. Cloth torn along all of lower joint, and some of upper joint. Loss of cloth at ends of spine. Spine cloth becoming detached. Hinges broken. Plates generally in very good condition. Some of the tissue guards with spots of foxing, stains, or creasing. Minor dampstains to blank corners of a few leaves. ; Dimensions of visible area of map: 10 1/2" x 8". Framed and glazed. Hand-coloured. Map has insets of Woburn Abbey and Dunstable Priory, three coats of arms, an agricultural worker and plough, and a list of the 10 Hundreds. Forested areas on the map coloured in green.
