1890. No Edition Stated. 227 pages. No dust jacket. Vol II only. Blue cloth with red & gilt lettering. Distinct tanning to half title page and rear endpaper, with light foxing and tanning to page edges. Faded pencil marks to half title page. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Few small brown stains (approx. 2cm) and finger smudging to some page edges. Gutter cracking throughout, with visible netting. Notable insect damage to edge of rear endpaper and slightly to opposite paste down. Mild wear and bumping to spine, board edges and corners, with crushing to spine ends. Notable sunning to spine, with faded spotting to boards. Distinct scuffing, insect damage and other marks all over both boards. Book has a forward lean. Seller Inventory # 1669012841CRH
