About this Item
128 Pages. This book is an interesting piece of patriotic fiction, written by a Congregational Minister and originally published serially in the Atlantic Monthly during one of the darkest times during the American Civil War. The book is an ex-library book. The exterior has four worn corners, worn marks on the front cover and it has a spine encased in library tape with the normal sticker near the bottom, and finally, it has a small split on the rear cover's bottom right corner. The interior book has the normal library card and holder inside the front cover with some other notes and the library stamp on the title page. Outside of these distractions, however, there are no further visible distractions or extraneous markings throughout the rest of the book and thus all printing and the many illustrations are all well-preserved and very enjoyable. The book's bindings also remain sound and in good shape. If you order this book from us, it will be carefully wrapped up, padded, and then boxed and sent right away to you and will come with our sincere appreciation for your interest in the book and for your order of it.
