Hardcover in light blue cloth with silver titles to spine and Thurber drawing to front, in orangish-brown Thurber-illustrated jacket, small 8vo. 2nd printing of UK edition. 102pp. Thurber drawings thoguhout text. VG-/Fair, with VG- front. Cloth overall is clean and sharp with mild soil, stain with no associated damage to lower corner rear board, mlder along upper rear fore edge. Binding tigt and square.Shelving square. Moderate toning to unmarked pages (somehat heavier on endpapers); strong toning from news clipping to pp.10-11. The rather scace jacket is chipped along all edges with deep chips over author and publisher's names on toned spine. Toning to rear panel, though white background otherwise clean. Central figures and titles onthe VG front panel have light to moderate soil but are very strongly colored and clear (see or request scan). Holds fine and looks handsome in Brodart. Not ex-lib.
