Full leather. Author was a British poet laureate. Volume ONE only of his epic poem, about a Welsh nobleman/prince. Front board is partially detached, but the text block is tight. Full leather is rough/rubbed with corners and all extremities worn. Lacking title page, but a facsimile title page laid in. Spine crown lacking 1" x 1' of leather. Volume number still visible on leather spine as is title. Scattered moderate foxing throughout. A large 'Notes" section at rear (pages 193 - 258).
