This is a very rare early Modern Library book in dust jacket. Bound in blue imitation leather (spine #2), the book is in VERY GOOD condition with extremely bright gilt on cover and spine. Leatherette binding appears speckled more from the manufacturing process than from wear. NO writing anywhere in the book - contents clean and bright. Brodzky endpapers are clean and bright. Solid binding, blue topstain. GORGEOUS! The dust jacket is VERY GOOD with small chips on the top and bottom spine and some soiling to cover otherwise in great shape for its age. The list of titles on the flaps and rear panel includes some from 1922, but none from 1923, indicating a 1922 printing. Now protected in an archival-quality dust jacket protector.
