Faded and discoloured scarlet boards with embossed lines to the margins and gilt lettering to the front. The spine is browned, rubbed on edges, mottled, with faded gilt lettering; a 5 mm split each side of the top. Internally the top half of the front gutter has a 2 mm split. A water mark runs across the top half of the rear endpapers and a water mark is evident in the front margin of all the pages, without any ripling or structural damage. Foxing to the prelims reappears intermittently particularly on and near the three maps though not affecting the folding view of North-West Coast. Pp xxxii, 310 + 6. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
