A hardcover catalog published by the C.O. Bartlett & Snow Company. It is bound in green cloth with gilt and embossed details on the front cover and spine. 624 pages. Contains sections on Bartlett & Snow Steel Apron Conveyors, Bucket Elevators, Drop-Forged Chains, Cast Tooth Gearing, Lever Type Friction Clutches, and more. Each product is described thoroughly with prices, dimensions, a short description, and at least one illustration. The many illustrations in the catalog include photographs, drawings, diagrams, and charts. Several of the illustrations depict the machinery at work, sometimes with people nearby or operating the equipment. Most of the illustrations are detailed depictions of the products themselves, though. There is an image on the title page & the first page of text with some yellow coloring; otherwise, the book s illustrations are in black and white. This is a handsome copy of the catalog, with a strong and sturdy binding. There are a few gutters between pages where the stitching of the binding is exposed. Lightly rubbed covers and spine, slight toning throughout the interior (a bit darker at the edge of the pages, but not much), and a smudge and some marks in pencil on the title page. Ex-library with the usual markings, including: a reference label adhered to the spine; Smithsonian Library stamps dated Aug 11 1965 on the copyright page; Reference, Catalogue Library, and a date stamp from May 13 1929 on the front attached endpaper; and reference numbers written in pencil on the page facing the copyright page.
