Hardcover, with dust wrapper. Maroon boards with gilt lettering on the spine are lightly rubbed at the edges. Head and tail of spine rubbed and lightly bumped. Boards lightly faded. Page edges are discoloured due to age. Edges are foxed, lightly. Binding is neat and tidy. Previous owner's bookplate on the front pastedown, alongside previous bookseller's stamp, else book is in good condition. Dustjacket is well rubbed and thumbed. Covers have some light scuffing and rubbing. Small tear at the head edge neatly repaired. Some scuffs and scratches, general discolouration. Spine sunned and bears previous owner's identification mark. Handled yet in good condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound.
