Oblong, approximately 340 x 220 mm, 13˝ x 8ž inches, title page, note, 16 plates of designs for guns, bound in quarter roan, paper covered boards. Slight wear to spine, slight darkening to covers, edge wear to boards, free endpapers browned, otherwise a very good copy with clean plates. This pictorial reprint of the designs of 17th century gunsmiths and engravers, features sixteen engraved plates from the works of Thuraine and Le Hollandais, arquebuziers to the King.
