Titles include: Italian Civil Rule in Conquered Territory, Italia Redenta, The Pope the War and the Roman Question an Italian View, Soldier's Prayers Notes from the Italian Front, Lowly Italians Insist on War Role, Little Donkey of Fiesole. Articles are in English. Speranza was born in Connecticut April 23, 1872. His childhood was spent in Verona, Italy. He received a law degree from College of City of New York and practiced immigration law for many years. In 1915 he went to Italy as a correspondent for the New York Evening Post and in 1919 returned to U.S. He wrote articles and books on the effects of immigration on American culture and politics.
