Initial introductory chapter on the rise and progress of the potter's art followed by extensive recipes for bodies ie China, Longport, Nantgarw, Spode etc, Semi-porcelain and vitreous, Ironstone, Dips, + chapters of recipes for Glazes, Underglazes, Colours Oils and varnishes, etc. An invaluable reference work. VG (Book- a few light cellotape marks to end papers where a protective wrapper previous ly affixed. Boards respectably clean and with no significant wear or soiling due to aforementioned.
