From the library of the Bohemian Club, with the bookplate of the elite, invitation-only San Francisco institution to the front pastedown and a printed label die cut in the shape of an owl at the spine heel. Above the bookplate is a handwritten note by Charles G. Yale, Librarian, describing how the book was deaccesioned and given to member Edward F. O'Day in exchange for another volume. Octavo: xv, 540 p. with 32 p. publisher's ads. Original burgundy cloth binding, with gilt and blind stamping. Light foxing to the endpapers, with some general dust staining to the top edge. The spine is ever so slightly sun faded, with a bit of minor wear to the corners and tips; otherwise very good. Seller Inventory # 75868
