Third printing (Feb. 1923) hardcover, bound in bluish-green cloth, with gilt lettering and decoration on front, and very faded gilt lettering on spine, is in G condition, having a small dent at the top of the back cover; light wear to top and bottom spine; some light fading to top area of front and back covers; a small spot of injury on back cover; a former owner's name written in black fountain ink at top of first fixed endpaper; a very beautiful bookplate designed and drawn by Elizabeth Mills in 1903, who became the wife of George E. Crothers, and he was one of the original benefactors of Stanford University; the bookplate is beautifully drawn, and has the name of Elizabeth Mills Crothers as well as a Latin phrase "Amoena Patrin Librorum" and a drawing of a large tree, and in very tiny lettering at the bottom, "Elizabeth Mills 1903"; there is a smudge on the half-title page, and some handling wear to volume.
