Schilling (Reno, Nevada), 8 1/2 x 11 inches tall spiral bound (black plastic comb), illustrated with photographs, rubbings and drawings of the tokens, 176 pp. Very slight edgewear to covers. Signed by the author on the first page of text (preface/copyright page). Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce guide to New Mexico trade tokens. OCLC has no listing. ~R~ A comprehensive guide to pre-1960 metallic New Mexico trade tokens, as well as similar metallic coin-like objects, such as store cards ('advertising coins'), identification checks, Masonic 'pennies,' advertising mirrors, etc. Tokens are listed under the town (or locality) where used, alphabetically, and divided within each town by business name (or proprietor's last name where the business name was unknown). Denomination of each token is shown, along with rarity, size, type of metal and shape of the token.
