This is the original, rare publication. Not the recent modern reprint. A collection of short poems of various 19th century poets - notably Hood. They are all rather illegibly written out on single sheets which have been printed. Each poem is surrounded by the possibly Indian Ink art work of the anonymous author - very much in a mid 19th century style - a little like Tenniel. Some more succesfully than others. It looks as if they were then privately publlished in a reduced size. Red cloth blind stamped at the back and with a gilt title on the front. A little soiled and edgeworn. Some foxing.
