The Little Picture Hymn Book. Written and illustrated by Cicely Mary Barker. Published by Blackie and Son. Undated, but a name and date, in pen, on the end paper suggests 1951. A hardcover book measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. 57 pages long. Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering. Within 36 well known hymns, 12 full page colour images, printed on one side of the page only, and a number of smaller black and write illustrations. The cover shows an illustration from within. Condition of book: Near Fine. A shadow of foxing affects some of the pages. They are otherwise very clean and un-thumbed. The very top edge of the binding is sunned, and a name and date is on the second page. Otherwise the book is in perfect condition. Condition of jacket: Very Good: No tape or tears. Just a very small amount of wear at the corners and at the top and bottom of the spine. Seller Inventory # 000242
