Good condition plus.Chapman and Hall,1865.Green hardback(small marks,dents and nicks on the front and back cover,two small tears and nicks on the edges of the spine, gilt lettering to the spine) in GC plus, no Dj as issued.Illustrated with a b/w plate.Frontispiece by Marcus Stone.Clean pages but aged and tainted on the outer edges,small foxing marks,creases and nicks on the edges of the pages,small stain mark inside the edge of the back cover,Victorian sticker inside the edge of the back cover.The book is in GC for its age with some shelf wear.503pp including Preface.
