The Little Book of Old Rhymes. Written and illustrated by Cicely Mary Barker. Published by Blackie and Son. Undated. Probably 1930's. A hardcover book measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. Page number: 49. Buff coloured paper boards with black tiles and a paste down image of children feeding birds. Within a collection of less common rhymes, 12 full page colour images , printed on one side of the page only, and a number of smaller black and write illustrations. The cover shows an illustration from within. Condition of book: Near Fine. A very little foxing affects some of the pages; but they are otherwise very clean and un-thumbed. A previous owners name is on the second end paper. Otherwise the book is in perfect condition. Jacket Condition: Very Good: The whole is only very slightly worn. There is sellotape at the top and the bottom top and of the spine. It is not price clipped. Seller Inventory # 000885
