119p. Contemporary black cloth with title gilt lettered on the front board. The fourth edition. Previous editions were published in 1870, 1876 and 1886. A rather unique copy as it is entirely interleaved. Contemporary or somewhat later handwritten notations in old red ink on both the inserted pages as well as in margins. These seem to be editorial corrections to the text, such as typographical errors. Headband a little rubbed and some minor bumps to the edges. These early editions are all scarce.
