Binding tight and appears little read. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions - ownership signature to front pastedown dated 1933 and associated bookplate to front endpaper (The Cotton Family, with crest and motto â In Ultraque Fortuna Paratusâ ); light toning to page-ends but text bright and clear throughout. First published in 1929 this is the twelfth impression from 1933.The external binding is discoloured and has some tears in the cloth but is clean and unmarked within. There is some discolouration to the end papers and the page edges but no signatures, stickers or labels. It may be interest to note that stuck to the inside covers are three newspaper images.
