Inscribed by Theodore Fred Kuper on flyleaf: "To my friend Major Grey Leslie whom it is a sincere delight to know, and with thought of whom it is an honor to be able to say, I am his friend, Theodore Fred Kuper. March 23, 1932." Kuper was a leader in the preservationaist movement to save Monticello. Good book. Slightly edgeworn. Pages toned. Major Grey Leslie's bookplate on front pastedown.
