Gilt top page edges. There is a Bibliography and an Index at the back of the book. Condition: Clean covers; the red cloth color has sun-faded a bit on the spine; there are a few tiny cloth tears at the top of the spine; sharp corners. Tight binding with no loose pages; partial crack at the rear hinge between the end paper and pastedown (despite the crack, the back cover is still firmly attached). The text pages are clean with no writing; pages 117-129 have a 1" tear at the tope edge. Small bookshop label affixed to the front end paper. Overall the book is in very good condition.
