hardback, three volumes complete, printed between 1813 and 1815, volume three containing a 15 page of appendix to take into account the Battle of Waterloo, half calf binding with marbled boards, lettered and ruled gilt to spines, compartments with gilt motif, wear to covers and a weakness to the upper joint of the first, volume three lacking an inch and a half narrow strip to the top right of spine, the text block in each volume remains tight, gift inscription to a previous owner on the front pastedown of each volume. Pictorial title to all three, Volume one lacks the general map of Spain and Portugal but all else is present, all as called for in volume II, two leaves in volume III incorrectly numbered but correctly placed, all plates correct as listed.
