The very rare first edition of these letters. Bisani goes from Italy, to Malta, to Greece, Athens (there are several letters on Athens), to Smyrna (Izmir), the Dardanelles, Constantinople (Istanbul) (fifteen letters), Gibraltar, Tunisia, and back to France. An interesting journey, all the more so because of the detail with which he writes. Rare. ESTC lists only two locations in the US, and two in the UK. Seller Inventory # 000226
