175pp. This French book discusses the work of the silversmith Luc Lanel (1893-1965) and the ceramicist Marjolaine Lanel (1897-1976), and the great contribution they made to the twentieth century decorative arts. Their scholarly monograph is fully illustrated in colour, and reflects the designs of the period. Lanel designed silver for Christofle between the Wars. In 1948 Luc left Christofle and created architectural themed ceramics for leading designers including Leleu etc. Hardback in d.w. Good condition. Seller Inventory # 6383
